Ingredients:
- 200g Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 300g Caster Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 325g Self-Raising Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt flakes+ extra for sprinkling
Method:
- Preheat Oven to 180 degrees Celsius/ 350 degrees Fahrenheit/ Gas Mark 4.
- Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
- In a large mixing bowl cram together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg until combined.
- Gradually, add the flour ad salt and mix until a dough forms.
- Add the Nutella by gently marbling through the dough using a spoon or palette knife.
- Divide the dough using an ice cream scoop and place each ball spaced apart from each other on the baking tray.
- gently squash them down with your fingers or a back of a spoon and sprinkle a little bit of salt on each.
- Then cook for 12 minutes- or until golden brown.
- Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and leave to cool and set for 20 minutes before eating.
